Feed Your People
This beautifully designed, community-driven cookbook brings together a diverse collection of big-batch dishes from
big-hearted chefs, spotlighting the foods we gather around, from dumplings to empanadas to meatballs.
We conceived and produced Feed Your People as a way to help folks connect through food. After all, sharing a meal is a powerful and intimate way to create community. Illustrated with sumptuous four-color photos, the book features recipes, stories, and tips from such luminaries as Alice Waters, Bryant Terry, Gonzalo Guzman, Joyce Goldstein, Tanya Holland, Dennis Lee, and Preeti Mistry.
Initially funded by a Kickstarter campaign in partnership with the beloved Bay Area nonprofit 18 Reasons, the project grew into a brand campaign that included blogs; videos; a series of fundraising, recipe-testing, and community dinners at 18 Reasons; and live panel discussions at Airbnb, the Battery, and other venues. The book was nominated for an IACP Award, and it launched the point of view for all our cookbooks since. In the course of our work, we created not only the hardcover book, but also a variety of brand assets and collateral (videos, blogs, cards, food photography, and professionally tested recipes for the home kitchen).
